As President of Moderna, Inc., Dr. Stephen Hoge is responsible for Moderna’s efforts to develop the most advanced mRNA technology platform across research areas, production and process development. He is the inventor of multiple mRNA patents. Prior to Moderna, Dr. Hoge was a partner at McKinsey & Company and a leader in the firm’s healthcare and corporate finance practices. At McKinsey, Dr. Hoge advised senior management teams of leading biotech and pharmaceutical companies on a wide range of strategic, financial and operational issues. Prior to joining the firm, Dr. Hoge was a physician in New York. He holds an M.D. with thesis from the University of California, San Francisco and a B.S. in neuroscience from Amherst College.
