Andrew Suchoff joined Axcella in 2020 and is leading the company’s people function. He oversees all aspects of human capital initiatives that cover culture, talent, learning and development, employee engagement and compensation. He brings more than 20 years of human resources leadership experience to the company in both public and privately held company environments across a variety of industries, having lived and worked in Asia, United Kingdom and Switzerland over his career.

Prior to joining Axcella, Mr. Suchoff served as Global Head of People Operations and Talent Development at Stallergenes Greer, a healthcare company with more than 1,200 employees and operations throughout the world. While there, he introduced inspiring human capital management concepts that unified distinct voices behind a single company vision, creating synergy across geographies while guiding the merger of two distinct cultures into one global organization.

Early in his career, Mr. Suchoff worked in a variety of HR leadership positions at Gillette and Serono International. In addition, while working at other life science organizations as the head of HR, he built a record of success in meeting evolving organizational needs at different stages in their growth trajectory.

Mr. Suchoff earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and his graduate certification in HR Management from Northeastern University. He serves on the Boards of Directors of two non-profit organizations: Seeding Labs and The Home for Little Wanderers.
